Oral surgery, combined with the latest technology and modern therapeutic procedures, provides our patients with specialized treatment that ensures the best possible results.

Oral surgery deals with surgical procedures in the area of the oral cavity – the teeth, jaws, and surrounding tissues. This important specialist branch of dental medicine includes a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that support other dental treatments. At SeaDent Polyclinic, we have combined expert knowledge, the latest technology, and state-of-the-art therapeutic methods to provide our patients with the highest quality care.

Oral Surgical Procedures

SeaDent offers various oral surgical procedures, ranging from simple tooth extractions to complex reconstructive surgeries:
  • Implantology
  • Preparations for prosthetic work
  • Sinus lift
  • Reconstruction / regeneration of bone defects
  • Surgical crown lengthening
  • Soft tissue surgery
  • Surgical tooth extraction

All on 4 and All on 6

All on 4 and All on 6 are innovative implant placement techniques that allow patients with toothless jaws to receive a fixed prosthetic restoration (bridge) on just 4 or 6 implants. These techniques are minimally invasive and enable fast patient recovery.

Oral Surgical Procedures for Implantology and Prosthetics

At SeaDent Polyclinic, we provide all oral surgical procedures you may need when beginning the restoration of a toothless jaw.
  • Preparations for prosthetic work – all procedures aimed at improving the quality of bone and soft tissue for the placement of dentures.
  • Sinus lift – minor and major sinus lifts; a procedure that increases the amount of bone in the upper jaw to allow for implant placement.
  • Reconstruction / regeneration of bone defects – replacement of lost bone in the jaw, most commonly using the patient’s own bone or artificial substitutes.

Modern Therapeutic Procedures for Faster and Better Results

Dentin grinder

The dentin grinder is a device we use in oral surgery when replacing bone tissue. In short, the procedure involves tooth extraction, after which the tooth is processed and ground into a fine powder used to prepare bone graft material. Since this is autologous material—meaning it comes from the patient themselves—it reduces the risk of rejection, ensures long-term stability of the grafted bone tissue, accelerates healing, and guarantees maximum success of the procedure. Cases in which we use the dentin grinder:
  • Lack of bone mass for implant placement
  • Preparation for implant placement in aesthetically demanding areas
  • Bone replacement after tooth extraction
  • Repair of bone defects

PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin)

PRF is a technique we use in combination with other surgical procedures to speed up patient recovery and improve final outcomes. PRF is a 100% autologous material derived from your own blood, containing platelets, growth factors, and other components that promote healing and tissue regeneration. We use it to accelerate healing and enhance soft and hard tissue quality in the following cases:
  • Implant placement
  • Sinus lift
  • Bone replacement
  • Soft tissue procedures

Soft Tissue Surgery

Soft tissue surgery includes procedures involving the soft tissues of the oral cavity and is used as support for our periodontal and prosthetic services.

Periodontal surgery deals with the treatment of gum diseases and the supporting structures of the teeth (periodontium), and includes procedures such as curettage, bone and soft tissue augmentation, and periodontal regeneration.

Recession coverage is a surgical procedure used to cover exposed tooth roots, improving aesthetics and reducing tooth sensitivity.

Surgical crown lengthening is a procedure in which excess tissue (gum or bone) is removed to increase the visible surface of the tooth, which is often necessary before placing crowns or veneers.

Surgical Tooth Extraction

Surgical extraction of impacted teeth is generally a very complex procedure used to remove teeth that have not fully erupted or are improperly positioned. This most commonly applies to wisdom teeth (third molars), which can often cause problems.
